Not sure? Take the Quiz!

If you’ve ever thought “Where did the time go?”, you’re not alone. For those with executive functioning challenges, time doesn’t unfold in tidy increments, it collapses into “now” and “not now,” leaving everything in between as a blur. This experience, often referred to as time blindness, can wreak havoc on everyday life.

Time Blindness can lead to missed appointments, always being late, forgotten tasks, and even damaged relationships. It’s not "laziness", and poor planning is merely a symptom. It’s a difference in how your brain experiences time. Learning to work with your brain, instead of against it, can make everyday life feel far more manageable.

With the right tools and proven strategies, it’s possible to not only learn what your brain needs when it comes to time management, but to actually train yourself to move with time. All without overhauling your whole life. Even a few minutes a day can begin to shift things.
More clarity. Less overwhelm.

For over 30 years, Time Timer has helped people see time in a way traditional timers or clocks can’t, making it easier to understand, manage, and act on. What started as a simple visual timer created to help one child understand the passage of time has grown into a trusted strategy used by millions—across homes, classrooms, workplaces, and healthcare settings in over 50 countries.
But over time, one insight became clear:
Most people don’t struggle with time because they can’t read a clock or lack discipline. They struggle because time itself is hard to see, predict, and understand, and therefore, control.
That insight is what led to The Effortless Day. Created by Heather Rogers, Co-President of Time Timer and someone deeply immersed in both the science and lived experience of time challenges, this guide brings together decades of real-world learning from educators, clinicians, and individuals navigating executive function every day. She didn’t want this to be just another productivity guide. She wanted to bring together some of Time Timer’s best advice to create a framework that builds on what Time Timer has to offer.
When Jan Rogers invented the first visual timer over 3 decades ago, she understood that when you can see time clearly, you can finally move through your day with so much less stress.

This is for people moving through days that seem doable on paper but at the end of the day, feel uncontrollable and impossible to manage. Whether you’re a student, parent, leader, professional… if your brain experiences time differently, this is for you.
And for those supporting them — parents, educators, clinicians, and caregivers — helping others build independence and confidence with time.

I think the concept of time awareness is so important, we live in a world that feels driven by making you lose track of time. It's a keystone idea to not let that happen. This book is a small "bet" with a big reward. In other words, it's not asking you to invest much in order to see an outsized improvement in perspective, mindset, and opportunity to better your daily life.

Well, it's always a gamble when you are getting stuff online and it's from Facebook, and it's not on Amazon, so I wasn't sure if it was legit. I did research and figured it was worth my time b/c I use an ADHD Time Timer and it's helpful so I thought this would be helpful too.

I so appreciate the thoughtfulness, simplicity, and encouragement in this little powerhouse of an e-book! I have been feeling a little lost at sea in a season of extra unpredictability... It's only noon and I am already noticing some new steadiness from applying the wisdom of time anchors and task batching. Thank you for sharing this incredibly supportive work!

I learned so much about how my brain works in regards to time.

Thank you! Have read the book so far and it’s just what I needed. A great, simple, and practical framework to get more done in peace

I usually prefer physical books buuuuut this ebook was way more practical and helpful than the $20 tangible ones I’ve bought on Amazon. Most of those just say “ADHD is a superpower” and call it a day – I need actual help. This one is fluff -free, easy to skim for quick insights, and doesn’t overwhelm on page one. (Unlike that book that opened with organizing my inbox and downloading 5 apps. I closed it immediately.)
